About us
PaludanLab, is part of the Department of Biomedicine at Aarhus University in Denmark. The lab focuses on understanding how the immune system detects and responds to infections, particularly by studying the interaction between viruses and host cells. They investigate the molecular mechanisms that underlie these processes, which include the study of interferons, inflammatory cytokines, and innate immune responses to viral infections. The research group includes several associate professors, postdoctoral researchers, technicians, and PhD students, all contributing to various projects. Their work is supported by a combination of national and international collaborations, and they frequently publish their findings in prestigious journals. The lab also emphasizes collaboration with other research groups and participates in various funding and media outreach activities. Additionally, they offer opportunities for students and researchers to engage in ongoing projects.
